Dr. Amy Enkler has been a Hudson Valley resident for over 20 years, where she grew up in the Catskills and attended Marist College. She worked as an equine vet tech for 5 years prior to attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2012 with highest honors. She completed her clinical training at North Carolina State University and her internship at Flannery Animal Hospital, continuing as an associate until 2014 when she joined Hurley Veterinary Hospital. In 2019 she transitioned to full time relief work. Her special interests include cardiology, ultrasonography, surgery and emergency medicine. Her focus in relief work is providing a seamless transition into your hospital to provide superior patient care and client satisfaction. Outside of work, Dr. Enkler enjoys traveling. horseback riding, skiing, camping and spending time with her family.
